Japanese Media Believe Check Supachok Is Top Candidate to Join Misha for J.League 1 Comeback

'Check' Supachok Sarachat, the Thai national team footballer, is the top candidate to join 'Misha' in his J.League 1 comeback.

Football-Tribe Japan reports that Mihailo Petrović, known as 'Misha,' the experienced coach recently appointed to lead Nagoya Grampus, is planning to rescue the team by bringing in former players, with 'Check' Supachok Sarachat, the Thai national team star, as a primary target.

Nagoya Grampus recently ended the 2025 season disappointingly in 16th place, prompting the club to part ways with Kenta Hasegawa and appoint 'Misha' to resolve the crisis.

For this reason, Football-Tribe Japan analyzes that in the current transfer window, Nagoya will reinforce their squad with players suited to Misha's style, revealing four possible new signings: Shunta Tanaka, Toya Nakamura, Yoshiaki Komai, and Supachok Sarachat.

Japanese media point out that 'Check' is a key puzzle piece Misha desires, as he is a deep-lying forward with excellent dribbling skills to evade defenders and can deliver precise through passes to teammates.

Since transferring from Buriram United to play in Japan in 2022, he has quickly adapted to Misha's style of football.

Conversely, after Petrović left Sapporo, Supachok managed only 2 goals and 3 assists in 31 J2 League matches, a disappointing record considering his potential. If Misha wants to improve Nagoya's attack, Supachok is a top choice.
