Former Liverpool Manager Jürgen Klopp Makes Latest Move After Being Linked to Three Top Clubs

Jürgen Klopp, former manager of England's top club Liverpool, has made his latest move after being linked to three major teams.

On 17 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Jürgen Klopp, the German former manager of Liverpool, a prominent Premier League club, made his latest move through his agent and close advisor, after previously being linked to three top teams following his departure from managing at Anfield after the 2024-25 season.

Currently, Jürgen Klopp has been serving as Global Head of Football for the Red Bull group since 1 January 2025, having signed a long-term contract. His duties include advising on playing philosophy, player development, transfers, and coach selection for teams within the group. He has also been approached by the US and England national teams, and there have been rumors linking him to Real Madrid.

Recently, Mark Kosicke stated regarding Klopp's rumored link to Real Madrid: "Sometimes he might say he misses the dressing room atmosphere, even though he is very happy with his current role. In fact, before joining Red Bull, he could have managed the German national team if Julian Nagelsmann had not taken the position first, and also the England national team."
