Did You Shake? Coach Yod Recalls the Moment Persib Fans Ran onto the Field Compared to the Past

Did you feel nervous? Worawut Srimaka, head coach of Ratchaburi FC, recalls the moment when Persib Bandung fans ran onto the field, comparing it to earlier times.

On 19 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Coach Yod Worawut Srimaka, head coach of the "Dragon Kings" Ratchaburi FC, reflected on the moment Persib Bandung fans rushed onto the field compared to the past during the AFC Champions League Two Round of 16 second leg last night.

Coach Yod Worawut Srimaka said, "This was a very tough game. The home fans came in large numbers. Of course, our players got a bit nervous at times and struggled to play their usual style, but they managed to get back into the game. The key turning point was the red card. Given the pressure, losing by only one goal was quite fortunate — I really have to say we were lucky. Regarding the incident with the fans, I wasn’t particularly surprised because we have previously won championships in front of 100,000 spectators. Today, the supporters might be disappointed by the result, but ultimately everything ended on the pitch."

In this match, although the "Dragon Kings" Ratchaburi FC lost 0-1 away to Indonesia’s Persib Bandung, they won 3-1 on aggregate over two legs, advancing to the quarterfinals of the Asian cup for the first time in the club's history. They will face the winner between Japan’s Gamba Osaka and South Korea’s Pohang Steelers in the next round.
