On 22 March 2026, Belgian coach Vincent Kompany gave continued opportunities by sending Brazilian player Maicon Cardoso, who developed in Thailand, onto the field for his second match to help Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga game last night.
Previously, on 7 March, Vincent Kompany gave Maicon Cardoso his official first-team debut for Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga in the match where they defeated Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-1. In that game, he came on in the 60th minute, playing roughly the final 30 minutes, replacing Konrad Laimer.
Most recently, on the night of 21 March, Maicon Cardoso was given another opportunity by Vincent Kompany, coming on as a substitute for the second league match in the home game where the team thrashed Union Berlin 4-0. He replaced Serge Gnabry in the 88th minute.
Maicon Cardoso has a chance to play in the next match for Bayern Munich as they visit Freiburg on 4 April, kicking off at 20:30 Thai time.
