Following are 5th place FC Machida Zelvia (Japan) at 19.30 million euros, about 730 million baht; 6th place Vissel Kobe (Japan) at 17.70 million euros, approximately 669 million baht; 7th place Johor Darul Ta'zim (Malaysia) at 13.90 million euros, around 525 million baht; and 8th place Buriram United (Thailand) at 12.83 million euros, roughly 485 million baht.
Recently, "Big Ne" Newin Chidchob made a brief but heartfelt statement via the "Lung Newin" Facebook page: "We may not have the highest value, but we fight with heart for the happiness of Buriram United fans." Many fans responded with encouraging messages to motivate the players to make history by reaching the semifinals.
For "The Lightning Castle" Buriram United, under English coach Mark Jackson, they will face Shabab Al Ahli on the evening of Saturday, 18 April, kicking off at 23:15 Thailand time at Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City in Saudi Arabia.
