Opportunities for Young Thai Footballers to Compete in Europe

Opportunities for young Thai footballers to compete in Europe have arisen.

This is an important opportunity for Thai youth players.

They can now go international again to train with professional European football clubs.

Mr. Robert Traill, director of Traill International School, a renowned international school celebrating its 60th anniversary,

has announced a significant partnership with a famous Spanish football club.

The club is Real Racing Club de Santander.

They lead the second division in Spain and are poised to enter La Liga next season.

This is a historic club founded in 1913, with a history spanning over 110 years.

Their goal is to bring world-class football knowledge and development systems to Thailand for the first time.

This will be under the Alpine Football Camp Training program, held from 20 to 25 April 2026 GMT+7.

A major press conference was held last Monday, attended by “Bung Yee” Worawi Makudi, former president of the Football Association of Thailand, and “Big Piak” Ong-art Kosanksa, former secretary-general of the association.

The collaboration aims to elevate the potential of Thai youth players to international standards.

It opens pathways to professional football careers at the global level.

Training follows the “Racing 360” system, which includes individual analysis and continuous evaluation throughout the program.

Mr. Robert Traill said at the press event that over the past 60 years, they have focused on promoting education and sports. This partnership is not just about bringing in foreign knowledge.

It is an exchange of experience to raise Thai football standards to match international levels.

This event is a golden opportunity for Thai youth and football personnel to learn Spanish playing and team management systems directly from the original source.

Representatives from Racing de Santander expressed confidence that their training methods and philosophy will help develop Thai youth’s potential.

They see this as a crucial foundation for the future of football in Thailand.

The event includes many interesting activities such as:

Alpine Football Camp Training: A professional-level football training camp.

Youth Football Clinic: A skills development clinic for youth aged U8 to U15 using the club’s unique Racing 360° system.

Academic seminars: In-depth discussions on Game Model, Relationism principles, and Spanish coaching systems.

World Football Scout Thailand 2026: A platform for scouts and experts to exchange knowledge.

The club has sent a high-level team of experts to work on-site, led by

Eduardo Bedia Peláez – Director of International Area.

Alex Fernández Saiz – Head of Organizational Development.

Jaime Isuardi – Professional footballer and academy specialist.

Additionally, the event announced cooperation between Uthai Thani FC and Racing de Santander.

The “Chang Pa Huai Kha Khaeng” team plans to send 18-year-old rising star Fitri Pawarit Boonmalert to Spain for training.

Fitri will participate in the “Racing 360” program, focusing on comprehensive development including skills, technique, tactics,

and intensive individual performance evaluation.

This marks a significant step for Thai players being genuinely and earnestly promoted to the international stage.

Importantly, during this training stint with the Spanish club,

if “Young Fitri” impresses with his talent (truly),

he might even be fortunate enough to receive a contract to play professionally in Europe.

Who knows what might happen!
