Suphanat Muenta, Buriram United's striker, opened up after leading the team to beat Selangor and successfully defend the Shopee Cup title.
Following Buriram United's repeat victory over Malaysia's well-known team Selangor FC, despite falling behind initially, they came back to win 2-1 in the match and 3-1 on aggregate, securing the ASEAN club Shopee Cup championship for the second consecutive time.
Recently, Suphanat Muenta, Buriram United's key forward, revealed his next goal is to win the 2025-26 Chang FA Cup this Sunday. If successful, the team will achieve a treble (Thai League, Shopee Cup, Chang FA Cup) immediately.
"We had already set our goal to win today and become champions in front of our fans, especially since this is our last home match," he said.
"We want to win every championship in every competition we enter. Hopefully, that day will be a great day for Buriram, and we'll secure the treble," he added.
