On 16 September 2026, live football scores from the AFC Champions League Elite 2026-27 group stage, East Zone first match: Port FC, one of three Thai League 1 representatives, hosted strong J1 League side Vissel Kobe at Thammasat Stadium, their temporary home ground.
In the first half, at the 10th minute, visiting Vissel Kobe took the lead 1-0 from a long throw-in on the left. Issei Takahashi headed the ball to the far post where Ren Komatsu tapped it past Port FC goalkeeper Michael Falkesgaard.
However, the "Singha Chao Ta" (Port FC) equalized 1-1 in first-half stoppage time at 45+3 minutes. Bruno Moreira crossed from the left edge of the penalty box to Issam Al Sabii, whose header deflected off Vissel Kobe's striker Ren Komatsu into his own net.
In the second half, at the 61st minute, Vissel Kobe regained the lead 2-1 with a quick one-two pass. Yuya Osako set up Yoshinori Muto, who broke the offside trap and calmly finished inside the box, beating Michael Falkesgaard to score.
