Tuchel responds clearly after England national team thrashes Croatia in UEFA Nations League.
Thumbs up! Tuchel praised the England national team for their flawless performance in the attacking display against Croatia in the UEFA Nations League.
Thomas Tuchel, England's head coach, praised his players for their perfect performance after they emphatically defeated Croatia 7-0 in the 2026 UEFA Nations League League A Group 3 match last night.
In that match, England's goals came from Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka, each scoring twice, with Jude Bellingham, Anthony Gordon, and Morgan Rogers each adding one goal. This brought England's total to 6 points, placing them second in the group, three points behind leaders Spain.
Tuchel said, "That was a 90-minute performance at the highest level from everyone, from the first minute to the last. Everyone who started and everyone who came off the bench gave their all at the highest level. Congratulations to the team on this victory."
“On the road, this was a very impressive performance. We created many chances. In the first 40 minutes, we played fluidly from the start. I remember looking at the clock thinking, ‘Wow, this is a great three minutes,’ and then realizing it had been a great seven minutes. It never stopped.”
"We maintained our rhythm and played through the gaps. Our play was sharp. We remained eager to press and defend, so we got the basics right. I appreciate this attitude. We played humbly and always did the fundamentals correctly, which is why it was a perfect performance."
For the next fixtures, England will host the Czech Republic, while Croatia will face Spain on 6 October in both matches.
