Breaking: Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool manager, has made a decision after an open discussion with Mohamed Salah.
Paul Joyce, Liverpool correspondent for The Times, reports that Mohamed Salah will be called back to the Liverpool squad for the English Premier League match at Anfield against Brighton this Saturday.
Previously, Salah was left out of Liverpool's squad in the midweek UEFA Champions League win over Inter Milan, following his fiery interview expressing frustration over being dropped for three consecutive matches after Liverpool's 3-3 draw with Leeds United.
Salah felt he was being made a scapegoat whenever the team performed poorly, and it seemed his relationship with Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp had broken down.
However, Klopp spoke with Salah at the club's training center on Friday. The discussion was positive, leading Klopp to decide to include Salah in the squad for the upcoming match against Brighton.
Both saw this as a decision beneficial to all parties. After the Brighton game, Salah will travel to compete in the Africa Cup of Nations with the Egyptian national team, and further discussions about the forward's future will take place in the coming weeks.
