On 15 Dec 2025, the official Facebook fan page of the "Red Devils" Manchester United sent encouragement to "Biw" Phuriphon Boonsorn, the Thai national sprinter and devoted Manchester United supporter, before he competed for the men's 4x100m relay gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games on 15 December at Suphachalasai Stadium.
Manchester United's page posted a clip of "Thep Biw" with the message: "Thank you for the love you’ve shown us. We wish you the best of luck in today’s competition, 'Biw' Phuriphon Boonsorn."
Phuriphon then replied, “Thank you,” sharing the post on his own page and adding five heart emojis.
Biw Phuriphon Boonsorn has already won two gold medals—first in the 100m with a personal best of 9.94 seconds, and recently in the men's 200m. He still has one medal chance left in the men's 4x100m relay, which will take place on 15 Dec 2025 at Suphachalasai Stadium.
