Examining the release clause of Bruno Fernandes, the Portuguese midfielder, after he revealed that Manchester United wants to sell him for £100 million.
On 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7, we examined the release clause of Bruno Fernandes, the Portuguese midfielder, after he dropped a bombshell revealing that Manchester United, under Portuguese manager Rúben Amorim, wants to sell him for a huge sum.
Last summer, Bruno Fernandes was heavily linked with a move to Al Hilal in the Saudi Arabian league, which was willing to offer £100 million (approximately 4.233 billion baht) and a weekly wage of £700,000 (around 29.6 million baht). However, the deal ultimately fell through because the player wanted to stay with the team.
Bruno Fernandes' release clause is £57 million (about 2.412 billion baht) for clubs outside the English league. The player also hinted that he might one day play in Spain’s La Liga or Italy’s Serie A if he has to leave the Theatre of Dreams.
