Ruben Amorim Expresses Frustration After Manchester Uniteds Away Loss to Aston Villa in Premier League

Ruben Amorim, Manchester United's manager, spoke openly after his team lost away to Aston Villa in the latest Premier League match.

Ruben Amorim, manager of the "Red Devils" Manchester United, said he believed his team did not deserve to lose 1-2 away to Aston Villa in the English Premier League last night because they clearly played better.

Amorim said, "I think we were the better team today. We were unlucky, even with Bruno's injury, but even without him during the game, we were still the better side."

"We defended well against their counterattacks and worked hard, but no one will remember that tomorrow because the important thing is the result."

"We knew Aston Villa would play tightly, and we needed to overcome that. In training, we tried to find various ways to play, so we kept improving. Again, I think we deserved more today, but the better team did not win."

Regarding Bruno Fernandes' injury, Amorim said, "It's really strange that we're facing injury problems at this time of year. We have many issues, but we have to cope. I think Bruno will need to rest for a while. We'll have to wait and see."

On giving chances to two young players, Jack Fletcher and Che Lessey, Amorim said, "Jack played well in his first game, so that's good news. Che Lessey as well. We'll try to find solutions for the next game."

"I've managed teams for six years, and at Sporting, it was also about the academy. So it relates to history. Every coach wants to bring players up from the academy without spending money because that adds value to the coach."

"I just want to win and make sure academy players are not overly burdened. I try to help the team regardless of whether the players are foreigners or from the academy."
