Liverpool Considers Signing 2 Billion Baht Player to Strengthen Attack

The 'Reds' Liverpool are reportedly considering signing a winger valued at 70 million euros to strengthen their squad, with the player insisting on a guaranteed starting position only.

CaughtOffside, a well-known football media outlet, reported that the Premier League giant Liverpool is considering signing French international winger Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain to Anfield during the January transfer window.

It is understood that Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp wants to add attacking options after the team faced issues with key forward Alexander Isak suffering a long-term injury with an indefinite recovery period.

Moreover, Mohamed Salah’s future with the team beyond this season remains uncertain. Liverpool recently showed interest in Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo, but the player chose to join Manchester City, prompting Liverpool to seek alternative targets.

According to the latest reports, 23-year-old Barcola has become a key option for Liverpool’s reinforcement plans. He is versatile in attack, able to play as a left winger, right winger, and center forward. Since his PSG contract runs until 2028, the club has valued him at 70 million euros (approximately 2.561 billion baht).

Barcola is praised as one of the most powerful attackers in Ligue 1, known for his speed, intelligence, and tactical discipline—qualities that align with what Klopp seeks.

However, Barcola has informed his personal agent that if he moves to Liverpool, he must be guaranteed a spot in the Reds’ starting eleven.
