Manchester United is focused on reinforcing their central midfield, an urgent need after captain Bruno Fernandes suffered an injury sidelining him for several months, while Manuel Ugarte's performance has significantly declined.
United has reportedly been interested in Conor Gallagher for some time due to his Premier League experience with Chelsea, Crystal Palace, and West Bromwich Albion. The current situation may prompt the "Red Devils" to adjust their plans and pursue him in this transfer period.
