Liverpool, known as the "Reds," has reached an agreement to sign a player who stands 198 centimeters tall ahead of schedule.
Fabrizio Romano, the renowned Italian journalist, reported that Liverpool, the Premier League giant, has finalized a deal to sign Austrian defender Ifeanyi Ndukwe from Austria Wien to Anfield. The agreement will take effect starting July 2026.
Seventeen-year-old Ndukwe, who stands 198 centimeters tall, has attracted attention from major European clubs. Recently, he played a key role in helping Austria's U17 national team reach the World Cup final in November, narrowly losing 0-1 to Portugal. Ultimately, the player accepted the opportunity to join Liverpool.
Ndukwe will turn 18 in March and will be able to join Liverpool's training at the start of preseason in July.
Initially, Ndukwe will join the U-21 squad under the guidance of Rob Page to develop his potential in England's top league. The club already has plans for him, confident that he possesses the qualities to advance to the senior team without difficulty.
