On 5 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Manchester United, the renowned Premier League club, officially announced the decision to dismiss 40-year-old Portuguese manager Ruben Amorim from his role as head coach.
Manchester United's statement said, "Ruben Amorim has departed from his position as head coach of Manchester United. He was appointed in November 2024 and led the team to the UEFA Europa League final in Bilbao in May."
