Ruben Amorim has made his first public appearance since being dismissed as manager of Manchester United.

Recently, Amorim was seen for the first time since his dismissal, out walking with his wife Maria Joao Diogo near their residence. Both appeared relaxed and smiling, possibly due to the reported severance package of around £12 million, equivalent to approximately 509 million baht.
Amorim joined Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon on 1 November 2024, signing a contract until June 2027 with an option to extend for an additional year. However, the club's board dismissed him on 5 January 2026 GMT+7.
Last season, Ruben Amorim led the "Red Devils" to a 15th-place finish in the English Premier League, the worst in the club's history since adopting this name, during the 2024-25 season. Additionally, they lost to Tottenham Hotspur, the "Spurs," in the Europa League final.
Although this year the team stands 6th in the Premier League table, inconsistent performance led to his departure, as the club seeks change to achieve the highest possible league position.
