On 9 Jan 2025 GMT+7, Chelsea announced the official appointment of Liam Rosenior as their new head coach, replacing Enzo Maresca, who parted ways with the club after ongoing conflicts with the board and limited support. Maresca had only led the team to one win in the last seven matches.
Chelsea confirmed the appointment of 41-year-old former Fulham defender Liam Rosenior as their new head coach at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, 6 Jan 2025 GMT+7. He signed a contract extending until 2032 and will begin his tenure with an away Premier League match against Fulham.
