Officially, Liverpool has announced the signing of their second new player during the January winter transfer window.
"The Reds," Liverpool, the Premier League giant, have confirmed the signing of promising Senegalese defender Mor Talla N'Diaye for a fee of just £1 million.
Initially, 18-year-old N'Diaye will join Liverpool's U-21 team under the guidance of Rob Page, with the club clearly planning to develop him into a first-team player in the near future.
N'Diaye transferred from Amitié FC, a Senegalese club owned by former Chelsea striker Demba Ba. Despite interest from several Premier League and European clubs, he ultimately chose to commit his future to Liverpool.
N'Diaye was part of Senegal's U17 national team that competed in the World Cup in Qatar last November. His performance caught the attention of Liverpool's scouts, leading to his signing.
N'Diaye is Liverpool's second youthful signing this winter, following 17-year-old Austrian defender Ifeanyi Ndukwe from Austria Vienna, who agreed to join the club ahead of the 2026 season starting in July.
