Jadon Sancho, the English attacker, revealed he believes he could have done more after heading the winning goal that led Aston Villa to an away victory over Fenerbahçe in the 2025-26 UEFA Europa League.
On 23 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Jadon Sancho, the English forward, shared his thoughts on what could have been improved after scoring the winner for Aston Villa, known as the "Villains," under coach Unai Emery, as they secured an away win against Fenerbahçe in the seventh match of the UEFA Europa League 2025-26 group stage last night.
Jadon Sancho commented after the team secured qualification to the last 16: "Fenerbahçe is a tough team, but we gave our all. I know I can do better. I hope to improve in the future. Unai Emery just told me to stay positive every time I play. Having a coach who supports and believes in you is really great. I will try my best every opportunity I get."
Jadon Sancho moved from Manchester United, known as the "Red Devils," to Aston Villa on a loan deal. He has played 19 matches in all competitions for Villa, starting 8 times, and has recently scored his first goal for the team.
