A former star boldly predicts that the "Gunners" Arsenal might lose to Manchester United at home in tonight's English Premier League match.
Jermaine Jenas, former midfielder of "Spurs" Tottenham Hotspur, believes the "Gunners" Arsenal could slip up and lose to the "Red Devils" Manchester United at Emirates Stadium in tonight's Premier League big match.
Arsenal, the league leaders, have been unbeaten in 12 consecutive matches across all competitions but face a major challenge this Sunday against Manchester United, who have started the season strongly under interim manager Michael Carrick, having beaten Manchester City 2-0. Jenas believes United's recent form suggests they could also win away at Arsenal.
“When I watched the game between Man United and Man City, the first thing I noticed was their organized play and improving teamwork. Attackers like Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes combined very well, clearly demonstrated by the first goal of the game.”
“In defense, Martinez and Maguire looked solid, and Casemiro in midfield alongside Koby Meno suddenly gave us the impression to say, ‘Oh, they might be a tough opponent to handle.’”
"I think every time I watch Arsenal, I don’t feel they easily break down other teams’ defenses. Certainly, they have good set pieces which help, and Gabriel Jesus might contribute, but you can’t ignore that United play excellent counterattacking football."
“If Arsenal don’t handle counterattacks well, they could concede goals. I think players like Amad Diallo, Bruno Fernandes, and Bryan Embolo will definitely cause problems for Arsenal.”
