André Onana, the goalkeeper on loan at Trabzonspor, is demanding one condition from Manchester United and is ready to leave the team immediately if that condition is met.
On 30 Jan 2026 GMT+7, André Onana, the Cameroonian goalkeeper loaned to Trabzonspor, a prominent Turkish league club, reportedly demanded one condition from Manchester United, the Premier League club that owns his contract. He said that if his demand is met, he is prepared to leave the team at once.
The 29-year-old Onana is demanding that the red giants of Manchester City pay a release clause of as much as £10 million, approximately 420 million baht, to terminate the remaining roughly two and a half years of his contract.
However, if the Old Trafford club does not respond to this demand, Onana is willing to stay with the team until his contract expires, even though he is aware he might not be part of the first team and may have to train with the reserves or even lower squads.
