On 5 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Alexis Mac Allister's father, the 27-year-old Liverpool midfielder known as the "Reds" star, dismissed rumors about a transfer to Real Madrid following links to the "White Giants" earlier this week. He confirmed that his son feels comfortable and happy at his club, Anfield.
Earlier, in December 2024, Mac Allister told AS that he was interested in Spain and viewed it as a possible future option, appreciating the country, language, and culture, which are similar to Argentina's.
Since then, rumors connecting him to Real Madrid have continued, despite him still having about two and a half years left on his Liverpool contract.
Mac Allister's father said, “What I can say now is Alexis is focused on Liverpool and the current season. He is very happy and comfortable at Liverpool.”
