Rumors are swirling that Al Ittihad, a prominent club in the Saudi Arabian league, is eyeing a move for a Liverpool star following Karim Benzema's departure from the team.
On 7 Feb 2026 GMT+7, rumors spread that Al Ittihad, a leading club in the Saudi Arabian league, is targeting Mohamed Salah, the famous star of the "Reds" Liverpool, a top team in England's Premier League led by Dutch coach Arne Slot, after veteran French striker Karim Benzema left the team.
Although Mohamed Salah has returned to the team, he previously gave negative interviews which led to him being dropped for a period. Nevertheless, his future remains uncertain as there are ongoing rumors about a possible transfer, and his performance has noticeably declined.
However, at present, Al Ittihad has not officially contacted Liverpool regarding a deal for Mohamed Salah. Still, it is believed the 33-year-old Egyptian player is open to a transfer if the Saudi club reaches an agreement with his current team.
