Arteta Beams as Arsenal Gets Major Good News Ahead of Premier League Clash with Wolves

Arteta beams as Arsenal receives major good news ahead of the Premier League clash with Wolves.

On 17 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's manager, revealed the latest team readiness ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League season's 27th match, an away game against Wolverhampton, the bottom-ranked team, scheduled for Wednesday, 18 Feb 2026 GMT+7.

Before kickoff, Arsenal leads the Premier League with 57 points, holding a 4-point lead over second-place Manchester City. This match has been rescheduled earlier to avoid a conflict with the Carabao Cup final against the "Sky Blues" on 22 Mar 2026 GMT+7.

Recently, Mikel Arteta shared good news that Arsenal will have Riccardo Calafiori (muscle injury) and Ben White (hamstring) back from minor injuries, fit in time to help the team aim for 3 points against Wolverhampton.

The Arsenal coach said, "Riccardo is fine. He trained with us today. He feels better, and we hope he will be fit to play tomorrow. Ben White just feels a bit tired. Clearly, he worked hard in the game, and near the end he felt a slight hamstring tightness, but he's otherwise fine."

"Martin Ødegaard will not be fit for the Wolves game, but we very much hope he will be ready to play on Sunday. Kai Havertz is another player who has a chance to feature this weekend."

If all four recover from injuries this week, Arsenal will have only two injured players remaining: Mikel Merino (foot) and Max Dawman (ankle).
