On 18 Feb 2026, Spanish media El Nacional reported that Jude Bellingham, the England international midfielder of Real Madrid, the La Liga giants nicknamed "Los Blancos," is ready to join Manchester United if his current club appoints Jürgen Klopp as their new manager.
Previously, there were rumors that Real Madrid is interested in bringing in Klopp, the former Liverpool manager who now serves as global football director at Red Bull, as their new manager next season, since they have no long-term plans for Álvaro Arbeloa as coach.
However, the latest reports state that Bellingham fears his role in the team would diminish if Klopp becomes the new manager. He has already had preliminary talks with Manchester United, indicating that if Klopp takes over at Santiago Bernabéu, he would immediately move to Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Manchester United is ready to offer him a significant role in the team and build a project around him as a central figure.
The transfer depends solely on Klopp's arrival. If the German coach does not take charge at Real Madrid, Bellingham intends to remain with the club.
