Which team will be disappointed? The "Supercomputer" predicts which team will qualify for the UCL among Man United, Liverpool, and Chelsea.
On 24 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Opta, football statistics experts, revealed the latest predictions from their supercomputer on which Premier League teams in the 2025-26 season are most likely to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League after this week’s matches.
1. Arsenal – 61 points
2. Manchester City – 56 points
3. Aston Villa – 51 points
4. Manchester United – 48 points (+11 goal difference)
5. Chelsea – 45 points (+17 goal difference)
6. Liverpool – 45 points (+7 goal difference)
Arsenal, the league leaders, and Man City, in second place, are expected to secure UCL qualification next season. Therefore, the real contest for qualification will be among Aston Villa in third, Manchester United in fourth, Chelsea in fifth, and Liverpool in sixth.
Focusing on the three teams—Man United, Chelsea, and Liverpool—who are direct rivals for fourth place, Opta’s supercomputer analysis shows that "The Reds" have the highest chances, followed by "The Red Devils."
Meanwhile, "The Blues" have the lowest probability, based on the managerial experience comparison among Jürgen Klopp (Liverpool), Michael Carrick (Man United), and Liam Rosenior (Chelsea).
1. Arsenal – 100%
2. Man City – 99.55%
3. Aston Villa – 85.77%
4. Liverpool – 47.10%
5. Man United – 44.15%
