A record high loss for England: Chelsea, the top English club, revealed shocking deficit figures from last season according to UEFA's financial report.
On 26 Feb 2026 GMT+7, it was announced that Chelsea, known as the Blues, posted the highest loss record in England last season, according to UEFA's financial data, placing the London-based club at number one.
Chelsea's loss amounted to £342 million, approximately 14.393 billion baht, last season—an English football record. However, this figure is still less than the massive loss of £483 million (around 20.35 billion baht) previously reported by La Liga’s Barcelona.
In the 2024-25 season, Chelsea competed in the UEFA Conference League, Europe's third-tier tournament, and won the title, while also finishing 4th in the English Premier League.
