Man Utd Target Ready to Move to the Premier League This Summer After Latest Signal

"Man Utd Target" is ready to move to the Premier League this summer after the latest signal.

On 4 March 2026 GMT+7, Bild, a prominent German media outlet, reported that Karim Adeyemi, the speedy German international winger and one of Manchester United’s targets, is ready to join the English Premier League this summer.

Sources say Karim Adeyemi has yet to extend his contract with Borussia Dortmund, despite the Bundesliga club's confidence that the 24-year-old player is a key part of their future plans and ongoing negotiations over new terms for several weeks.

However, it seems Adeyemi is waiting for an offer from a Premier League club this summer, while his current contract with Dortmund runs until June 2027 without a release clause. Jorge Mendes, his agent who also manages Cristiano Ronaldo, wants such a clause included in the new contract, which has stalled talks with Dortmund.

Adeyemi appears inclined to move to the Premier League after showing displeasure with Dortmund coach Niko Kovac when he was substituted in a Bundesliga home win over Borussia Mönchengladbach 2-0 last December; Adeyemi walked past the bench straight to the dressing room.

Sebastian Kehl, Dortmund's sporting director, revealed that Adeyemi was warned for his behavior. Tensions between Adeyemi and coach Kovac had occurred before, including an incident where the player threw a water bottle at the bench after being substituted.

Additionally, Adeyemi may be encouraged to transfer by his wife, 30-year-old rapper Loredana. The Daily Mail previously reported that she wants him to play football in a major European city, presenting a good opportunity for Manchester United, who have long been interested in signing him this summer.

Karim Adeyemi moved from Red Bull Salzburg to Dortmund in 2022, appearing in 140 matches with 34 goals and 24 assists. He can play as a right or left winger, attacking midfielder, or striker, with his standout feature being his explosive acceleration.
