Three teams are out of contention as the "supercomputer" predicts the favorite to win the 2025-26 Premier League after the latest matchday.

On 5 March 2026 GMT+7, Opta, the football statistics expert, revealed the latest prediction from its supercomputer on which team has the highest chance of winning the 2025-26 English Premier League season after the most recent midweek matches.

Latest Premier League standings (top 6)

1. Arsenal (30 matches) 67 points

4. Aston Villa (29 matches) 51 points (+5)

Meanwhile, Manchester City remains the second favorite, but their odds have dropped sharply below 10 percent after a 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest, now trailing Arsenal by 7 points despite having one game in hand.

Aston Villa (lost 1-4 to Chelsea), Manchester United (lost 1-2 to Newcastle), and Liverpool (lost 1-2 to Wolverhampton) have all been ruled out of the Premier League title race, with the supercomputer calculating their chances at 0.00 percent.
