Ryan Gravenberch spoke openly after signing a long-term contract extension with the "Reds," Liverpool, until 2032.
Ryan Gravenberch, the Dutch midfielder for Liverpool, aims to help his club win the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup this season after recently signing a contract extension to stay at Anfield until the end of June 2032.
Gravenberch said, "I feel very good. I am very proud to extend my contract with such a great club. I am very happy to stay here for many more years."
"It was a very easy decision. To be honest, I felt the trust from the club and the manager, so my decision was simple. My family is also happy here. We've been here for almost three years, so I know everything well. I am happy to be here."
"Of course, I have learned a lot. When I came here, I had to adapt to everything — a new country, a new club, meeting new people. Now, as I said, it feels like a big family. I know everything. As a player, I think I have developed a lot and become a better version of myself. I have gained so much from Liverpool."
"We have a good group of players, including experienced players, young talents, and new arrivals. I believe that when everything comes together and settles, we will be a very strong team."
"This season hasn’t been our best, but we still have the FA Cup that we can win. We are also still in the Champions League, so we will give it our all. I think everyone feels the same. Hopefully, we can win some trophies."
Finally, Gravenberch was asked about the relationship he has built with the fans, who even have a chant for him.
"I have always had a very good relationship with them. When I do well on the pitch, I hear them singing for me. I am truly grateful to the fans."
