"The Red Devils," Manchester United, have already chosen a permanent replacement for Marcus Rashford, who is set to move permanently to Barcelona.
Spanish sports media reports that "The Red Devils," Manchester United, are considering signing Iliman Ndiaye, the Senegalese international winger from Everton, nicknamed the "Toffees," as a replacement for Marcus Rashford.
Rashford moved to Barcelona on loan until the end of this season, having played 37 matches in all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing 13 assists. He has started 14 matches in Spain's La Liga.
Rashford has not yet made any commitments regarding his plans after this summer. His impressive form in La Liga has sparked more discussions and speculation about his long-term future.
However, reports from Spain indicate that Barcelona are gaining confidence in Rashford's potential. The club's executives are trying to sign the 28-year-old permanently after the season, with a transfer fee of €30 million (£26 million). Meanwhile, Rashford feels comfortable continuing to play for Barcelona.
Given this situation, Manchester United must look for Rashford's replacement. They have now targeted Everton's Ndiaye, who has scored 5 goals and made 3 assists in the English Premier League this season.
Additionally, the 26-year-old winger achieved international success earlier this year, playing a key role in helping Senegal win the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations.
Everton would make a significant profit if they decide to sell Ndiaye this summer, having signed him from Marseille for just £16 million in 2024. Currently, Ndiaye has three and a half years remaining on his contract with Everton.
