Supercomputer Predicts 2025-26 Premier League Champion After Latest Match

The "supercomputer" is gaining momentum by predicting the favorite to win the 2025-26 Premier League after the latest matchday.

On 16 Mar 2026 GMT+7, Opta, football statistics experts, revealed their latest prediction from a supercomputer on which team has the highest chance to win the 2025-26 English Premier League after the most recent matches concluded.

Latest Premier League standings (top 6 positions):

1. Arsenal (31 matches) 70 points

2. Manchester City (30 matches) 61 points

3. Manchester United (30 matches) 54 points

4. Aston Villa (30 matches) 51 points

5. Liverpool (30 matches) 49 points

Opta's supercomputer predicts Arsenal as the strong favorite to win the Premier League, with their chances rising above 95 percent after a 2-0 home victory over Everton.

Meanwhile, Manchester City remains the second favorite but their chances have sharply dropped below 3 percent after drawing 1-1 with West Ham United, now trailing Arsenal by 9 points despite having played one fewer match.

Third, fourth, and fifth place teams—Manchester United, Aston Villa (who lost 3-1 to Manchester United), and Liverpool (who drew 1-1 with Tottenham)—are no longer in contention for the Premier League title, with probabilities at 0.00 percent.
