Victor Yokeres, Arsenal's striker, revealed another important reason for the team's home defeat to Bournemouth in the latest English Premier League match.
Victor Yokeres, the Swedish striker for the "Gunners" Arsenal, stated that the Emirates Stadium pitch was a bit too dry, contributing to the team's 1-2 home loss to Bournemouth in the recent English Premier League game.
Yokeres took the penalty to help the team equalize 1-1, but ultimately Arsenal conceded a second goal and suffered a painful defeat, leaving them 9 points ahead of second-place Manchester City, although the Gunners have played two more matches.
Yokeres said after the game, "It was a very important match, and of course, the defeat hurts us. They played well on the counterattack, with several good players coordinating excellently, but we also need to perform better."
"We had several chances late in the game, but the pitch was a bit too dry, which didn’t help us at all. However, we shouldn't dwell too much on what happened today. We need to look ahead and stay positive."
