Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's head coach, made his position clear after rival fans mocked the Gunners, affirming that he does not give importance to minor criticism from a few individuals.
On 15 Apr 2026 GMT+7, the Spanish coach viewed the incident as the action of just one fan, emphasizing that Arsenal still receives tremendous support from a large number of fans, especially at the home stadium where over twenty thousand spectators cheer enthusiastically at every match.
"I don't feel anything about such matters. We have a large number of fans who always support the team excellently."
When asked if he used the issue to motivate his players, Arteta confirmed he takes the opposite approach, focusing on showing the players the positive energy from those who love the club.
"I want them to focus on the people who support us and what they are doing, which is something special and has never happened before at the club."
Arteta also confirmed he ignores the mocking from rival fans, choosing to focus on the strong support from Arsenal fans and the team's performance during this crucial part of the season.
