Pep Guardiola Speaks Candidly After Roséniers Chelsea Dismissal, Links to Man City

Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, spoke openly after seeing Liam Rosénier dismissed as Chelsea's head coach.

Pep Guardiola, manager of the "Sky Blues" Manchester City, said he felt deeply saddened to see Liam Rosénier removed from his position as manager of Chelsea, known as the "Blues."

Rosénier was sacked by Chelsea last Wednesday, less than four months after signing a long-term six-and-a-half-year contract. The final straw was a 0-3 defeat to Brighton, marking Chelsea's fifth consecutive league loss without scoring any goals, dropping them to eighth place in the table.

Pep said, "I am very sorry. I am quite sure he is a top-level manager."

"Whenever things like this happen, I always think about how lucky I am to be at this club. I chose the right club ten years ago, with an excellent management team, an amazing CEO, and sporting directors — truly incredible."

"The consistency and trust with the people I work with here is remarkable. I am truly fortunate."

"Chelsea's decision is not something I need to worry about."

Currently, Callum McFarlane has been appointed interim manager of Chelsea until the end of the season. McFarlane has already managed two games this season: a draw against Manchester City and a loss to Fulham. He is now preparing to lead Chelsea against Leeds at Wembley in the FA Cup this Sunday.
