Jürgen Klopp hinted that he misses coaching after stepping away since leaving the English football powerhouse Liverpool at the end of the 2023-24 season.
On 24 Apr 2026 GMT+7, Klopp hinted that he misses coaching after a long absence since leaving Liverpool, also known as the Reds, following the 2023-24 season—nearly two years ago. Currently, he serves as head of football at the Red Bull group, which recently unveiled its new training center.
Seeing Red Bull's new football training center valued at $100 million USD (about 3.249 billion baht), Klopp admitted he missed the atmosphere of managing a team on the sidelines, despite previously denying rumors linking him to various clubs, such as Real Madrid.
Klopp said, “Since I stopped coaching, I hadn’t thought about it until now. When I visited this Red Bull training center, I realized it might be something I do miss—especially being in a place like this on a nice day. But thank God the weather wasn’t that good this time, otherwise I might seriously consider returning as a manager.”
