Arne Slot, Liverpool's manager, revealed the name of one player who will be the key to the team's away victory over Manchester United.
Arne Slot, manager of the "Reds" Liverpool, expressed confidence that German international attacker Florian Wirtz will perform outstandingly in the Premier League Red Derby when they visit "the Red Devils" Manchester United on Sunday, 3 May.
Slot said, "I don't just hope, I am one hundred percent confident he will deliver. To me, it is very clear how Florian has developed during his time at Liverpool, which has only been 10 months so far. It is very obvious to me."
"Look at the 93rd minute in the game against Crystal Palace. He challenged for the ball on the sideline, won a throw-in, then ran 40 yards and fired a shot into the top corner! That's something I wasn't sure he could do eight months ago when we visited Brentford or in similar games. So that clearly shows his development."
"He is already a top-level player, and his progress will continue because he is only 22 years old, which makes perfect sense. Almost every footballer in the world reaches their peak at 25 or 26, and he can still get better."
"That’s the advantage of the signings we made last summer: they are all at ages where we expect them to improve continuously, as long as they stay injury-free."
