Jamie Carragher, the well-known football pundit, spoke out after Manchester United defeated Liverpool in the Red Derby.
The development came after the "Red Devils" Manchester United hosted and beat the "Reds" Liverpool 3-2 at Old Trafford in the Premier League's Red Derby last night.
Recently, Jamie Carragher, the Liverpool legend and defender, shared his personal opinion that although the Red Devils have a high chance of finishing third in the Premier League this season, it does not mean they are among the top three best teams in England. He also believes Liverpool has a better chance of winning the Premier League next season than Man United.
Carragher said, "Manchester United will finish third this season, but I do not believe for a moment that they are one of the top three teams in the Premier League."
"Manchester United only have the advantage that they are not playing in European football at all, and they have also been knocked out early in both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup."
When asked which team, Liverpool or Manchester United, has a better chance of winning the Premier League next season, Carragher responded, "I think Liverpool has a better chance, and the reason I say that is because we saw Man United’s best team on the field today."
"However, I don’t think either team will realistically challenge for the title next season because, in the end, I still think the title race will be between Arsenal and Manchester City."
