Arsenal's championship parade is ready, with a celebration date announced if they secure two major trophies.
The Daily Mail, a British media outlet, revealed that Arsenal, the Premier League leaders, have set a grand championship parade for Sunday, 31 May, if the 'Gunners' win either the Premier League or the UEFA Champions League this season, or potentially both.
However, even if Arsenal wins the Premier League, the club has decided to wait until after the UEFA Champions League final in Hungary on 30 May. This may affect some Arsenal fans who travel to support the final in Hungary, as they might need to find a way to return from Budapest to North London within a few hours or early the next morning.
Initially, the parade will head towards Islington Town Hall. Although the official route has yet to be confirmed, it is expected to follow the usual path starting from Emirates Stadium to Drayton Park, Aubert Park, Highbury Park, St Paul’s Road, and Upper Street, before returning to Emirates Stadium. The event is expected to begin in the morning or around noon rather than in the evening.
Arsenal fans have been allocated 16,824 tickets for the Champions League final, but Declan Rice hopes that even more fans will travel to support the team in Hungary’s capital, offering encouragement as the team reaches a final for the first time in 20 years.
