Liverpool Manager Predicts Arsenal Will Win This Premier League Season

Arne Slot, Liverpool's manager, has confidently predicted the champion of this English Premier League season.

Arne Slot, manager of the "Reds" Liverpool, stated he believes "the Gunners" Arsenal will successfully claim the English Premier League title this season due to their strong defensive factor.

Currently, Arsenal leads the Premier League by 2 points ahead of Manchester City, with only 2 matches remaining for each team. Arsenal will face Burnley and Crystal Palace, while Man City will meet Bournemouth and Aston Villa.

In the latest press conference, Arne Slot praised Arsenal's defensive strength as a key reason why the Gunners are likely to win the title this season. Arsenal has conceded the fewest goals in the league this season (26 goals).

“I think Arsenal will win the league because when they face periods needing deep defense during games, they perform very well. That is one reason they will win the league.”

"You must defend with all 11 players—that is the new reality in football. Ideally, you defend from the front, but if you can't because the opposing team has the advantage, you must try to keep a clean sheet.”

“That is something we (Liverpool) have not done well enough this season: the periods when we have to defend. In the game against Chelsea, during about 10-15 minutes of defensive play, I think we controlled the rest of the game, but in those 10-15-20 minutes, I'm not sure. We conceded goals, and that is worrying."

"In other times, when we are the better team, we haven't created enough chances. And when we get chances, we find it harder than we should to score, considering the chances created—especially compared to last season. I think we don't have significantly more chances than last season, but last season we converted those chances into goals better."

‘I don't think I'm exaggerating. In 70-80 percent of the games we play, we are the better team. I've seen stats showing we spend the most time in the attacking third among all Premier League teams, but that hasn't translated into enough goal-scoring opportunities."
