Declan Rice's disappointment was clearly visible when he learned of the relegation of his former club, the "Hammers" West Ham United, during Arsenal's 2025-26 Premier League title celebration on Sunday.
Before Rice returned to the dressing room after Arsenal's 2-1 away win over Crystal Palace to prepare for the trophy presentation, fans noticed him anxiously following the match results to see if West Ham would avoid relegation.
Although West Ham defeated Leeds United 3-0, the result was insufficient as Tottenham won 1-0 against Everton, finishing 17th, while West Ham ended the season in 18th place, relegated to the Championship next season.
Upon realizing West Ham's fate, Rice clapped in disappointment and pain, then walked to the dressing room shaking his head in frustration.
