Top favorite emerges strongly: Revealing 5 leading candidates for Liverpool's new manager to replace Klopp.
On 26 May 2026 GMT+7, Sky Bet, a well-known licensed bookmaker, released the latest odds for the position of Liverpool's new manager should the Premier League club replace Jurgen Klopp after the 2025-26 season.
Previously, reports indicated Liverpool plans to review Klopp's performance after the 2025-26 season, with a minimum target of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League. However, they finished 5th in the Premier League, narrowly missing out until the last match, and won no trophies despite securing the Premier League title last year.
Although it seems Liverpool may still give Klopp a chance to continue under his remaining one-year contract, Sky Bet recently revealed Andoni Iraola, who will leave Bournemouth after leading them to 6th place and their first-ever Europa League qualification, as the current top favorite to become the "Reds" new manager.
Second favorite is Sebastian Hoeness, head coach of Stuttgart, who led the team to 4th place in the German Bundesliga and reached the DFB-Pokal final two years in a row, winning last season but finishing runner-up this season after losing to Bayern Munich. Hoeness is noted for having a personality similar to former Liverpool fan-favorite manager Jurgen Klopp.
Third favorite is Luis Enrique, who has expressed a dream to manage in the Premier League, especially Liverpool, despite a high likelihood of renewing his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
1. Andoni Iraola (Bournemouth) - Odds 4/6 (bet 6 to win 4, excluding stake).
2. Sebastian Hoeness (Stuttgart) - Odds 5/1.
3. Luis Enrique (PSG) - Odds 15/2.
4. Pep Lijnders (Manchester City - departing assistant manager alongside Pep Guardiola) - Odds 9/1.
5. Pierre Saha (Lens) - Odds 9/1.
