Insider Reveals New Contract for Arteta with Arsenal After Premier League Triumph

An insider reveals the new contract between Mikel Arteta and Arsenal after winning the Premier League, expecting him to stay another three years with a salary of £20 million per year.

On 2 June 2026 GMT+7, after Mikel Arteta led Arsenal to their first Premier League title in 22 years, despite missing out on the UEFA Champions League trophy by losing to Paris Saint-Germain in the final, the league title still brought joy to Arsenal fans worldwide.

Currently, Arteta's contract runs until summer 2027 (end of next season), and with his impressive performance, rumors about a contract extension with Arsenal have been growing. Josh Kroenke, Arsenal co-owner, has made it a top priority for the club at this time.

The Telegraph reports that Arteta currently earns £10 million annually plus a £5 million bonus if the team qualifies for the UEFA Champions League.

The new contract is expected to last at least three years, extending through the 2028/29 season, with the possibility of a salary increase to £20 million per year (approximately 876 million baht).
