Man Utd Celebrates First New Signing with Nearly 2 Billion Baht Transfer Fee

HERE WE GO!!! The "Red Devils" Manchester United have secured their first new player to help the team chase success next season.

Fabrizio Romano, the renowned Italian journalist, confirmed that Manchester United, the Premier League giant, have reached an agreement with Atalanta to sign Brazilian midfielder Ederson for a total fee of 45 million euros (approximately 1.7 billion baht).

The 26-year-old Ederson will sign a four-year contract with United, running until June 2030, with an option to extend for another year, and is expected to undergo a medical examination soon.

Ederson had been a target for several top clubs, but the player consistently saw Manchester United as his first choice, which sped up negotiations. Since his contract with Atalanta expires in summer 2027, United managed to close the deal for a relatively moderate fee.

This marks a focused start to Manchester United's transfer window, aiming to strengthen their midfield following Casemiro's departure.

Ederson has made 180 appearances for Atalanta, scoring 16 goals and providing 6 assists across all competitions.
