Manchester United Decides After Matheus Fernandes Price Is Inflated Sky-High

"The Red Devils" Manchester United immediately reacted after their target player was quoted an exorbitantly high transfer fee.

The BBC, a prominent British media outlet, reported that West Ham United, known as "The Hammers," has started to worry whether Manchester United will agree to pay the £80 million fee they set for Matheus Fernandes, as the Red Devils have remained completely silent.

After being relegated from the Premier League, West Ham faces a situation where they must sell several key players this summer, including Matheus Fernandes, who impressed in his first season with the club after transferring from Southampton last summer for a total of £42 million.

The 21-year-old Fernandes has become a target for Manchester United, and preliminary talks between the two clubs have already taken place. West Ham is asking for as much as £80 million, and according to the latest reports, upon learning this price, Manchester United has yet to submit an official offer to West Ham.

Additionally, sources report that West Ham is growing concerned about whether Manchester United will agree to the £80 million fee they are demanding.

However, Manchester United has already completed the signing of a new midfielder: Ederson, a Brazilian midfielder from Atalanta, for a total fee of €45 million.

Only the medical examination remains, but United is confident the transfer will be completed before Michael Carrick's squad returns for pre-season training in July.
