Man Utd celebrates securing a Premier League star in a deal exceeding 2 billion baht.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, known for his accuracy, declared with his signature phrase HERE WE GO!!! Manchester United, the Premier League giant, has reached an agreement to sign 22-year-old Brazilian midfielder André Santos from Chelsea to Old Trafford.
Manchester United agreed to pay an initial fee of £48 million, with an additional £2 million in agreed add-ons, bringing the total deal value to £50 million (about 2.244 billion baht). Chelsea will also receive 10% of any future transfer fee for the player.
Next, André Santos will undergo a medical examination before signing a long-term contract with Manchester United until June 2031. If all goes well, the official signing will take place this Thursday.
Santos will join Manchester United's midfield under the management of Michael Carrick to compete in multiple tournaments for the 2026-27 season, including the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and UEFA Champions League.
