Carrick Decides After Man Utds Loss to Wrexham

Carrick has made a decision after Man Utd's loss to Wrexham.

Michael Carrick, the manager of the "Red Devils" Manchester United, has made an overall decision after their 0-1 defeat to Wrexham in the first preseason friendly. He said this is normal and that many positive things were seen from the game.

Carrick said, "As I mentioned before the game, the players have only been back together for about 10 days. It's about getting through today, looking for positives, focusing on the good, and knowing it won't be perfect."

"That's normal for the first game. I think the most important thing is that everyone got through it well with no injuries. So we can move forward and take the next step next week."

"I was pleased with the team in the second half. I thought they controlled the game very well against a team that isn't an easy opponent to play against."

"Overall, the players were responsible and showed their quality. Trying to break down a well-organized defense is not easy to find sharpness and creativity, but that will come. I'm very satisfied, and they can be proud of themselves."

"There were many positives from the game. I think Andre Santos and Mason Mount performed very well and coordinated excellently. I saw many encouraging signs there. Andre showed good signals in his first game, starting to settle in. So it’s good to see him in the red shirt."

Next, Manchester United will face Rosenborg from Norway on Friday, 24 July.
