Fabrizio Romano, the renowned Italian journalist, declared HERE WE GO!!! Aston Villa, a strong Premier League club, has reached an agreement to loan Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho from Chelsea for one year, until the end of the 2026-27 season, with an option to buy.
The 22-year-old Garnacho has passed his medical and preliminarily agreed to a permanent four-year contract with Aston Villa should the loan become a permanent transfer.
The terms of the permanent transfer have not been disclosed by either club but are expected to depend on certain conditions such as the player's number of appearances next season. Chelsea believes these conditions can be met and that they will receive the initially agreed fee of £43 million.
Garnacho’s departure from Stamford Bridge follows Chelsea’s signing of Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa for £117 million, which would limit Garnacho’s playing opportunities. The transfer is seen as the best solution for all parties, while Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has clearly expressed his desire to use Garnacho in the upcoming season.
